Student Health Insurance
What's Included at No Cost
All full-time undergraduate students are automatically enrolled in the Student Injury Program (Plan I) at no additional cost. Florida Southern pays the premium for this plan, which covers inpatient, outpatient, and other services outlined by UnitedHealthcare. There is nothing you need to do to receive this coverage.
Optional Student Health Insurance Plan
In addition to the injury plan, Florida Southern offers an optional Student Health Insurance Plan (Plan II) through UnitedHealthcare. This plan helps cover more serious or costly care, including illnesses, hospitalizations, surgical care, and physician services. It is available to both domestic and international students.

This plan is added to your bill automatically unless you waive it by the deadline, and you must waive coverage each year.

- Follow the prompts, complete the form, and click "Yes" if you are waiving coverage.
- Type your name as a digital signature and click "Submit."
A confirmation screen will appear once your waiver is successfully submitted.
