Florida Southern College Online MBA Program Ranked Top 30 in the Nation by Princeton Review
Jul 19, 2024
Florida Southern College is again named among the best by The Princeton Review, ranking the College’s online Master of Business Administration Program among the foremost in the nation, ranking 29th, first among private colleges in Florida. Started in 2015, the online MBA program has quickly risen to distinction. As the highest-ranking private institution in the state of Florida, the Barney Barnett School of Business and Free Enterprise takes its place among the top-30 institutions alongside well-established business school “powerhouses.”
“Our faculty and professional staff focus on the student experience and outcomes, which greatly validates our commitment to student success,” said Dr. Michael Weber, dean of the Barney Barnett School of Business and Free Enterprise. "We are particularly proud of this honor as the ranking is based on student and administrative feedback.”
With accreditation by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), earned by less than six percent of the world’s business schools, Florida Southern’s MBA provides graduates a competitive edge in the job market by focusing on cross-industry learning. The MBA program uses an engaged-learning approach to assist students in gaining real-world experience and important skills sought after by employers. Online instruction offers flexibility, ideal for working professionals, and students can customize their MBA to match their career goals.
Dr. Krista Lewellyn, MBA program director, celebrated the College’s inclusion in the prestigious annual ranking stating, “I am very proud of the MBA faculty members and staff members who give so much time and effort to ensure that every student in our program has a meaningful learning experience and is on a trajectory to achieve their professional goals.”
The Princeton Review’s business school rankings are uniquely based on data the company gathers from its surveys of administrators at the school as well as surveys of students attending the schools who rate and report on their experiences at them. The rankings for 2024 were based on data from surveys of administrators at 409 business schools and surveys of 32,200 students enrolled in MBA programs.
