Florida Southern Makes Big Leap in Online MBA Rankings

Florida Southern College’s Barney Barnett School of Business and Free Enterprise climbed up the most recent U.S. News & World Report’s rankings of online Master in Business Administration programs for 2022-23.
U.S. News & World Report ranked Florida Southern 51st in its most recent rankings, announced today, moving the College up 54 spots from the 2021-2022 rankings. Florida Southern is the second-highest ranked private institution in the state of Florida.
“We attribute this significant increase in our ranking to the efforts of our faculty,” said Dr. Michael Weber, the Dean of the Barney Barnett School of Business and Free Enterprise. “They excel at delivering industry-relevant content and providing experiential learning opportunities for our students. We can also thank our alumni, who have been more than willing to provide employment/outcome data and testimonials regarding their success after graduation. The improved ranking was also influenced by our investments in student services and technologies, as well as the unwavering commitment of our admissions team to recruit and enroll the best and brightest MBA students. This ranking is an incredible affirmation of the high quality MBA that we deliver. We look forward to additional recognition at the national and international level, as our programs continue to evolve.”
The Florida Southern College MBA program is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. U.S. News & World Report ranked 344 schools according to their performance across a set of widely accepted indicators of excellence. Those factors included engagement, expert opinion, faculty credentials and training, services and technologies, and student excellence.
