What We Don't Want You to Know About FSC

We’re always showing off the sunny side of life at FSC, but today we decided to pull back the curtain and reveal some things that we don’t want you to know about Florida Southern.

Prepare for long nights… of watching the sunset over Lake Hollingsworth with your friends. There’s nothing more peaceful than nights on the lake watching the sun cast its beautiful colors across the water. You could sit and watch or grab your friends and go for a drive while listening to music, something our students fondly refer to as “lake laps.”

We’ll push you to your limits … as you embark on thrilling Junior Journey excursions. Picture yourself scaling the icy peaks of a glacier, exploring the hidden chambers and passages of a mysterious cave, or immersing yourself in the beauty of various breathtaking waterfalls.

You’ll be very busy… with a whirlwind of exciting campus events. Every day, campus is buzzing with activity thanks to our vibrant traditions that promise endless amounts of fun. Picture food trucks, ziplines, carnivals, concerts, and even snow! There’s never a dull moment around here.





Prepare to be set up… with top-notch professors and academic programs. In our classrooms every student receives individualized attention and support.  The career services team is also there to actively support you on your professional path to employement, ensuring you are set up for success in your future.
 

You’ll lose your voice… cheering on our athletic teams. With 24 for athletic teams and 30+ intramural teams, there is something for everyone. Whether you’re an avid fan or just there to support your friends, our sporting events are a great way to bring the student body together as a community. You won’t want to miss out on the excitement.
 

So, there you have it, the not-so-secret, secrets of life at FSC, where you’ll be forced to endure stunning sunsets, thrilling adventures, endless campus fun, top-notch academics, and spirited athletic events.
