Biography
Where are you from?
St. Louis, MO
Educational Background
I originally wanted to become an optometrist, so I received a Bachelor’s of Science in biology with a minor in psychology from Maryville University in St. Louis, Missouri. Then I decided I love working in higher education and received a Master’s of Higher Education in Student Affairs from Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa.
Favorite Restaurant
I am a big foodie and still exploring new places, but I like the Joinery. You can go by yourself and enjoy the different options (it’s like a food hall), or go with a group of friends so everyone can get a meal that is just right for them. I typically end dinner with ice cream and a walk around the lake
On working in admissions at FSC
I am excited that I get to meet so many wonderful individuals and support the beginning journeys of their collegiate careers at Florida Southern. I strive to ensure that every student feels comfortable and confident knowing they made the best investment in their future by choosing to be part of the Mocs family. I enjoy moving past the transactional and into true interpersonal relationships as I’m cheering students on!
Favorite Music/Books/TV Shows
I listen to all music and am always looking for new music to enjoy. So I can bond with you over everything from 60’s pop to 2010’s alternative rock. I like learning, so I watch a lot of documentaries and read non-fiction. I also binge TLC shows and classic romantic comedies here and there.
Hobbies/Interests
I like to run, kayak, and hike. You can find me on local trails and lakes with my dog Ginger. I love live music, sporting events, and plays. I also like shopping, board game nights with friends, and drawing/coloring.
