Leah Pinder

Biography
Leah Pinder began her professional career studying dance at Florida School of the Arts, the University of Iowa, and the University of South Florida (USF) where she received her B.F.A. in dance performance with a focus in modern dance. Leah has taught modern dance technique at USF, the University of Tennessee, and was a guest instructor/choreographer for St. Petersburg College. Leah is currently an adjunct professor at Florida Southern College where she teaches modern dance technique, choreography, and dance improvisation.
Leah is also a co-founder and choreographer for Momentum Dance Lab, a modern dance collective from Knoxville,TN. She has also been a choreographer for Asheville Contemporary Dance Theater from Asheville, NC and Moving Current Dance Collective from Tampa, FL.
Leah also has an extensive background in the colorguard activity performing with Florida Wave Drum & Bugle Corps, Blue Devils Drum & Bugle Corps,and the Alliance of Miami Winterguard. She was an instructor/choreographer for the Colts Drum & Bugle Corps from 1992 through 2001, Nuendo Winterguard from 1997 through 2000, Southeast Independent Winterguard from 2013 through 2014, and the Spirit of Atlanta Drum & Bugle Corps in 2016. Leah is currently a movement choreographer for UCF Pegasus World 2016-present, Paramount World Winterguard 2019-present, Seminole High School from Seminole, FL. 2009-present, and the Carolina Crown Drum & Bugle Corps 2019-present.
