At FSC, faculty invite students to engage in collaborative research from their very
first year. Research projects take a deeper look at human and nonhuman behavior, and
students take part in every aspect of the process, from designing studies to analyzing
data to presenting findings.
Each year, FSC Psychology students present their research at the Southeastern Psychological
Association Conference, the Florida Undergraduate Research Conference, and the American
Psychology-Law Society Conference. Three students were also selected as Florida Fellows
at the Max Planck Florida Institute for Neuroscience Symposium, one of the nation's
most prestigious neuroscience gatherings. Student research has been presented at regional,
national, and international conferences and published in peer-reviewed journals, building
professional credentials that most students don't earn until graduate school.
